About threemonkeyscampaign

The Three Monkeys Campaign has been started by journalists Hindol Sengupta and Shweta Punj to support the anti-corruption drive of legendary human rights campaigner Anna Hazare and his fight to enforce the anti-corruption Lokpal Bill. It comes from the simple Gandhian image of three monkeys with their hands on their eyes, ears and mouth signifying: See No Evil, Hear No Evil and Speak No Evil. It aims to gather one million on- and offline signatures to support the campaign and urges each person who signs to send an image, photo or sketch of a monkey to the Prime Minister's Office and the office of UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi urging them to remember Gandhiji's teachings, listen to Hazare's fast and protest and enforce the improved Lokpal Bill.
